Drawing Breath Workshop

Get sketching in this evening workshop for Tate Members

Learn how to sketch using perspective with artist and educator Louise Waller. You'll discover tips and techniques to help you highlight shadow, tones and textures in your observational drawings.

This practical workshop will take place out of our usual opening hours and in front of artworks from the Tate Collection within our Brickworks display at Tate Liverpool + RIBA North.

Your ticket includes a Winsor & Newton: Drawing Set, which contains a set of graphite pencils and coloured pencils produced in collaboration with Tate so you can continue to draw at home.

This session is exclusively for Tate Members. If you're interested in joining, find out more here.

Louise Waller is a Liverpool-based ceramics artist and educator. She recently exhibited her work in 20 years of clay at the Victoria Gallery and Museum.

Louise has also worked as an Artistic facilitator on the Mobile Museum, a collaborative project with Art Explora, Tate and MuMo. The Mobile Museum took artworks from Tate’s collection directly to school and community groups across the Liverpool City Region. Louise was part of the team that delivered talks, tours and workshops to the visitors.

Louise continues to work as part of our friendly Visitor Experience team at Tate Liverpool + RIBA North.
