Description
The letter concerns Epstein's illness and his work and mentions his stay in London Hospital due to his heart trouble, the unveiling of his carving for the Trades Union Congress, the sale of 'Genesis' and his hopes of getting more sittings to extend the bust of Princess Margaret to include her hands, that he is being asked to do tomb figures for the Chapel Royal at Windsor and regrets the days when he had no large commissions, and that the house next door is being turned into flats. The letter is enclosed with a newspaper cutting about the sale of 'Genesis'. Includes original envelope.
