Versus presents: The Network

Turner Galleries

19.00-21.00

VERSUS takes over Late at Tate with ‘The Network’: a unique event that will give those with a desire to work in football 1:1 access to some of the most creative and disruptive minds in the game right now.

While every football fan at some stage dreams of becoming a pro baller, less than 1% of players in elite academies ever make a Premier League appearance. But as the beautiful game becomes more culturally fluid and far reaching than ever before, there are more ways than ever to make a career in the sport.

Writers. Photographers. Directors. Agents. Content creators. Campaigners. Activists. Football is an industry that can truly be for everyone and anyone.

‘The Network’ will see a squad of professionals take to the stage for a live panel, before the event breaks into a mixer event where our guests will be able to seek advice, guidance and knowledge on a 1:1 level.

Join us and take your first step into football’s creative industry.

VERSUS is the media brand and fan community representing the future of football, championing the game’s influence on culture and society.

Talks

SEASON zine presents: Football Fashion Vibe Check Panel

Art Now

18:45-19:15

Debate the ins and outs of football's connection to fashion in 2024 and leave with new opinions on how the game is inspiring designers and stylists today.

Felicia Pennant is an award-winning fashion and football storyteller from London.  She founded the trailblazing football and fashion platform SEASON zine in 2016 to counter the male, pale, and sometimes stale state of modern football culture. Named one of The UK’s Best Independent Football Magazines by Hypebeast in 2019, it’s a cross between a football zine and fashion magazine spanning print issues with football stickers, events, and more. Pennant is also Editor-in-Chief at SoccerBible, a Dazed Digital ‘Good Sports’ columnist, and has written for Vogue.co.uk, i-D, The Face, Highsnobiety, and other titles. She won the PPA New Talent 30 under 30 Award 2019 and was named on The Football Black List 2019. @feliciapennant @season_zine
